We're excited to share that Destiny Olaleye is joining Glamir as our CEO & Engineer. She arrives at a pivotal moment in our story: we've begun development on our physical products—Mirrors—and Glamir is becoming a more engineering-focused company than ever before.
Hardware, systems, and craftsmanship now sit beside our software and science. Destiny's leadership is meant for exactly that chapter.
Why Destiny, why now
Building Mirrors means thinking in materials, manufacturing, lighting, reliability, and the full journey from prototype to product people trust on their vanity. That work needs leaders who are comfortable with constraints, trade-offs, and shipping real systems—not only roadmaps on a slide.
Destiny brings an industrial engineering background, which we felt was a perfect fit for the direction we're going. Industrial engineering is about designing efficient, human-centered systems end to end. That mindset maps cleanly onto Glamir as we connect the app, Glamir Light, and physical Mirrors into one coherent experience.
